I would not know the sequence of it. Does Destiny Fate Karma work in a linear mode? Or is it a roller coaster (I think it is) playing Snakes and Ladder with our lives. Or is it just a simple adage ” What you sow, you shall reap ” an apt explanation for how all this works? Maybe it does, but it is a touch simplistic view to accept. Do we discount all other factors that influence our decisions in life? What if we are born in a war torn country? What if we have suffered abuse in our childhood? What if we have to scavenge to eat? The influence of our culture, religion, our ancestors, and values we imbibe are players in shaping our destiny. Or some of us are fated to be in circumstances that we have no control over? That is, being there at the wrong or right time. So should we call it Luck?
All it could mean that, one rule does not fit all. We cannot also ignore stories of achievements that rose out of the ashes. How did they do it? Divine intervention, hard work, luck, free will, and support. All the scriptures, gurus, philosophies, materialist, existentialist, stoics, agnostics, atheist and many more have discussed Destiny, Fate, and Karma since articulation. However, none of the explanations are entirely persuasive. The randomness of it.
If you want to delve more and bubble your conundrum, I recommend reading Helena Lind’s ” The Destiny Book – Rediscovering The Mother Of Spirituality.”
