What does it mean to chase your dreams or chase in your dreams?

This question was the reason for me to dig into the internet.

We all do chase our dreams with mixed results. The euphoria of success or frustrations of failures are obvious consequences.

Have we chased in our dreams?

I have with laughable but near miss consequences.

I now have the dubious distinction of falling off my bed in sleep.

Investigation on my part revealed that I was chasing someone or something in my dream that led me to miss a step, and I came tumbling down.

It was a deadweight fall that led to bruises and a jarred back.

I have now recovered enough to chase again.

A friend with a poker face did suggest that it could be my wife who nudged me off the cliff.🙂🙂🙂
